Welcome to the webpages of NSSS 2005!

Now it is the time to fill in your final registration. The dead line is November 30th 2004. Lots of preparations have already been done and we believe that we’ll have an unforgettable happening in Lappeenranta next April.

Here you can find the information of all kind of fees and music etc. The detailed schedule will be published later. Our NSSS –theme is Water. What it means will become clear little by little.

As known we will sing together four pieces. We will send you the notes, when you have done the final registration. The Symphony of Segerstam and Finlandia of Sibelius will be sent by email in pdf-format and you can copy it only for your own use. These notes are labelled. The note of Borodin will be sent by mail when we know the number of participants of your choir. The work of Fagerudd should be finished at latest by the end of December and we will send it to you as quickly as possible.

If you come to Helsinki by ferry without your own bus we can suggest you an easy and economical transportation by bus from the harbour to your accommodation and back. In Lappeenranta we have a NSSS -shuttle bus system.

Some choirs are coming by plane and for them we have planned extra flights. The negotiation isn’t finished yet but you can already find some price indications here. Also the timetable is open but the flights should arrive at Lappeenranta at 15.00 on Thursday and depart on Sunday at 15.00. We can´t be sure from these flights but we need a presumption of the number of passengers.
